President Duterte has promised to give a reward to anyone who reports to government officials who are threatening government or SAP assistance.
At the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced that President Duterte had offered P30,000 to anyone who would help the national government catch the corruption officials.
“Siya po ay magbibigay ng pabuya na 30,000 pesos sa lahat ng po ng mga mag rereport ng local officials na kumakana o kinukurakot ang mga ayuda para sa mahihirap,” sabi ni Spox Roque
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque also said that those who could call the government hotline could call 8888.
In a public address, Duterte specifically named Hagonoy, Bulacan member Danilo Flores who pocketed a large portion of the P6,500 distributed to SAP beneficiaries.
“I’ve already told you if you do anything at this time,” Duterte said.
