American streaming service Netflix has just launched a new per month PHP 149 mobile-only plan in the Philippines. The plan mobile-only has also been launched in Malaysia, India, Thailand  and Indonesia.

According to the report of Business World – Netflix’s director Patrick Flemming, Netflix’s Director for Product Innovation, announced the rollout of the mobile-only subscription plan to the Philippines, at the same time as Thailand. “Filipinos watch 2x more Netflix on mobile than the rest of the world. Netflix said customers can pay for their subscription using credit and debit cards, via direct carrier billing with their existing networking provider, or with cash using a Netflix gift code.

Still, you get unlimited access to Netflix’s content and other features. The only compromise is how you won’t be able to watch it in HD, Ultra HD, and other devices.

Netflix recently reported that its membership had increased by 20% last year.

Membership in the Asia Pacific region grew by 1.75 million in the fourth quarter of 2019, bringing the total to 16.23 million.
