CBN Times – Duterte Govt. Provides 5K to P8K to Every Family of Informal Workers affected by the enhanced community quarantine
The law would give special powers to the president to counter the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
Under the law, every family of informal workers will receive from P5000 to P8000 within 2 months.
It will provide drivers, vendors, reporters, and others with no income at the moment as the enhanced quarantine community exists.
The law also states that public health workers infected with the disease will receive P100,000 from the government, while all medical practitioners who have been terminated by COVID-19 will be given P1 million each.
